After the civil ceremony the Rose room was quickly turned around as guests went and had photographs taken in the hotel and down leafy New Walk.
The Rose room looked great with chair covers provided by local supplier Sky’s the Limit of Oadby and flower pedestals in blue, orange and purple provided by Penney’s florist of Wigston.
Darren & Justin’s style is unique and to coincide with this they decided to name their tables after animals. For each one chosen a donation was made to the WWF in aid of that animal, and in return a cuddly toy and information pack was placed on each table.
Once guests had been seated at their tables, the Wedding Breakfast was served, the chosen menu included the following dishes:
Starters
Confit tomato & mozzarella tart, basil & green olive tapenade (v)
Main Course
Roast rump of beef, Yorkshire pudding, red wine & shallot sauce
Served with gratin potatoes & seasonal vegetables
Dessert
Chocolate tart, maple & walnut ice-cream
Later on the Rose room was given a quick freshen-up and the large dance floor was uncovered for their evening reception, which went on well past mid-night with great tunes from the hotels resident DJ from Cream Entertainments.
The couple were wonderful to work with and we wish them all the best for the future!
